Nowadays it is huge. I think I read the Bob Dylan album hit #1 last week with 192,000 copies sold – a far cry from the heyday of teen pop when N-Sync and Britney would sell over a million the first week.
I’ve still not heard the whole album but at least it is a bit different from the rest of the teeny boppers out there. But I don’t think he is an amazing artist, just a good pop star.
yeah but back then.. they were more of a novelty… and their fan base was very young.. 700k is ridiculous
