Varsity Fanclub Celebrate 9 Million MySpace Plays
Jayk Purdy of Varsity Fanclub checked in with fans on their blog at MySpace (@varsityfanclub) on Friday (January 16), thanking them for listening to music on their MySpace player enough to cross the 9 million play milestone.
Wow so we were just checking the MySpace page to do our daily writing back of messages to some of you great fans and looked and realized that we had just passed 9 million plays on our music player!!! Holy cow that’s a whole lot! We gotta thank you all for playing our music like crazy, and we promise we have so much new stuff lined up for all of you in 09… New tour dates will be posted very very soon and we will be hitting the road again till the album really officially releases, no stops this time… Sorry but we had to get a few more ducks in a row before we dropped our tunes .. Again, thank you for all of your love and support, trust us when we say we’re always thinking of you fans.. YOU MAKE US, US :)
