Robbie Williams Hires 72-Room Hotel

June 26, 2003 – reports Robbie Williams has hired the whole of his favorite hotel in Vienna to avoid being disturbed by fans. He will take over the 72-room Hotel Triest for his concert at the Ernst Happel Stadium on July 4th. In addition, Williams has reportedly asked for an exact replica of the hotel’s bar to be built backstage at the gig.

June 26, 2003 – The Mirror reports that when Robbie Williams tried to make a quick exit five minutes before the curtain came down at The Rocky Horror Show’s 30th birthday the other night, things got ugly. “It was pandemonium,” confirmed an insider. “He was accosted by photographers and it turned ugly. One of the security guards started going mental at the snappers and there was a scuffle.” Robbie was able to cool the situation, joking that his bodyguard was new on the job.

June 24, 2003 – The Sun reports Robbie Williams is writing a warts-and-all autobiography to hit back at a string of unofficial accounts of his life. A pal revealed at the after show party for the 30th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Show in London’s West End, “This is going to be the ultimate Robbie book. His mate and journalist Chris Heath will put the words on paper but everything in it is from Robbie’s own mouth. Quite frankly he is sick about reading other people’s accounts of his life.
