Daphne Willis ‘Everybody Else’ Video

Daphne Willis is out with the music video to her new single ‘Everybody Else’, off the Chicago singer songwriter’s debut album ‘What to Say’, out now on Vanguard Records.

“I think there’s a lot of interplay and double meanings that are said in that song, but the ‘You be me and I’ll be you’ line is kind of like, people are fundamentally the same usually anywhere you go, and it’s kind of like you could trade places with somebody,” Willis told Beatweek Magazine about the release. “I guess it’s more of a line that would be like putting your situation in perspective cause you could always be either the grass is greener on the other side, or it’s like we’re all the same, you know what I mean? So it could be either way with that meaning. It’s kind of how you interpret it.”
