Lady Gaga Discusses New Album, Grammys & Whitney Houston

Lady Gaga was on the phone with “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday (February 15) to talk about her appearance at the Grammys, arriving in an egg shaped vessel, her shout out to Whitney Houston upon winning a Grammy, and her upcoming album ‘Born This Way’, out May 23rd. “I can’t tell you how much I listened to her growing up,” Gaga said in regards to Whitney. “She was my vocal idol for so many years. I thought of her voice when I wrote [‘Born This Way’] because she’s just such an incredible singer. I sort of planned to thank her a long time ago at some point, I said ‘if I ever win a Grammy, I’m going to thank Whitney’.” Audio at Kyte.tv has since been removed.
