Mariah Carey Keeps Making Bad Song Choices

Patrick MacDonald of the Seattle Times reviewed Mariah Carey’s show last Wednesday (December 10) at McCaw Hall. While praising the diva’s vocal talents, he said, “Too much of the time she wailed through tacky disco songs, the worst of which featured no-talent rappers like Busta Rhymes and O.D.B. on film. Why she attaches herself to such losers is a mystery. She has the talent to sustain a career like that of Tina Turner or even Barbra Streisand. But she keeps making bad song choices, which is why her career has stalled. Unfortunately, there were too many of them in the show.” Read more.

Pollstar has released the top 20 tours of the year by gross and Mariah’s BOMB-bracelet tour was nowhere to be found. Who knows how low on the list it’s placed. The lambflops kept lying about how it wasn’t a complete failure. Of course they were wrong as usual, how could it be a hit since she was stuck playing little theatres because of her ever declining career. Just another Flop for the Queen of Flops.

Just reading part of this review shows how little this fool knows about current pop culture. To call Busta Rhymes a loser, shows how little he knows about Busta’s career. Busta’s career has lasted more then 10 years, and he’s still making platinum albums, as well as riding on the biggest hit of his career this year with “I Know What You Want” with Mariah. And as far as Mariah’s tour, it isn’t even over yet, how are they gonna have a final gross when there is more dates coming? According to BillBoard, with only 13 shows accounted for, she had already wracked in 5 million, that’s pretty much just the Japanese leg of the tour, while the US, European, and Asian dates aren’t even accounted for. Mariah’s tour is a critical and commercial success, if it wasn’t doing well they wouldn’t be adding dates and extending it, that’s just freakin common sense you fools!

Trying to find another person to blame again. Whoever MCow works with, she’ll never ever get a #1. Partnering with loser busta rhymes is a flop too. Just number 3 on the chart and then it sank into trash. Look at Beyonce , her #1 single is still on Billboard. People are still playing it on radio. Let the liers lie all they want. They are trying to go “against the music” but they ain’t Madonna or Slutney. Plus Madonna has a new movie role. The flop queen has to beg producers to work with her Glitter *****.

Madonna was also in the movie Evita, NExt best thing, and the JAMES BOND movie. She also got to sing the theme song. For MCow, off course once is enough. Glitter remember? People (movie producers) learn from mistakes, unlike lame-hos who just can’t face reality.

Right, NO ONE is gonna give Madonna another movie role, have you seen “Swept Away”!!!! OMG, that was horrible!!! At least with Mariah’s flop movie it was her first, while Madonna’s flop “Swept Away” was like her 6th film!

So #3 is a flop???? RIGHT!!! You wish Madonna or Britney could get that high!

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO Hmmmmm: WHY WOULD ANYONE SPEND THEIR TIME HATING ON SOMEONE THAT THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW ? WHY DOES IT BOTHER THEM SO MUCH AS TO WHAT MARIAH CAREY DOES? DO ALL THEY THINK ABOUT IS MARIAH?I MEAN THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO POST SILLY STUFF ABOUT HER ON THIS SITE. THEY MUST REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE MARIAH.

That’s why “Wise Girls” was critically acclaimed and got a standing ovation…’, ‘At the Sundance film festival. and the next best thing sucked ass, it wasn’t even a good movie and it didn’t even make it to #1 and in her theme song for James Bond also bombed, so I don’t know what you’re bragging about, if she was soo great she would of been the #1 selling female artist with the most #1 hits ever and the best selling artist ALIVE, but yeah that all goes to the one and only MARIAH CAREY.

  7. niceg says:

Wisegirls getting a standing ovation at Sundance? What the hell is that. Nobody cares. If it’s not the Oscars, forget about that. That movie was not even released and went straight to Wal-Mart’s bargain bins. Madonna got all her movies released in the cinema. They had the movie premieres and everything on a grand scale. Nobody remembers Wisegirls anyway. A one time Glitter bomb is enough.

  8. mikemc says:

HA HA HA!!! When has Madonna EVER received critical acclaim for any of her roles? And in all actuality, many view the Sundance Film Festival as a more respectable organization then the oscars, it isn’t all about the glitz and glamour, it’s about the actual acting and performance, when has Madonna excelled at that?

Busta isn’t a well respected artist. Her tour isn’t over and those other artists made that list with less tour dates and greater capacity seating. And if billboard thought she was doing so great she would be listed in their top tours. Meanwhile David Bowie, a long time veteran SOLD OUT the garden, and got 2 rave reviews. Not only that, but, in the daily news his review was spread out and included pictures, not a one page blurb lke Mariahs. What is freakin common sense is that David Bowie after 30+ years in the buisness can sell out a venue and make almost 1/4 of what Mariah makes her whole tour, and he doesn’t need a JLO throw away to extend his tour. Yes that’s right, Benny Medinas idea to get her more dates for whatever reason. And the dates they added are ridiculously small ones that she couldn’t even sell out.

Both Madonna and Britney has gotten that high. Plus she has the #1 best selling single with “nothing fails” And Madonna had the 2nd highest grossing tour in 2001.

She did get offered a role, and she won a golden globe for Evita. Haha. Mariah was rumoured to be commissioned to do the next bond theme, now she’s not.

Actually Die another day was a top ten hit. I think it was #8, how is that a bomb? And she is listed in the guiness book as the “most successful female artist” So, you are wrong again. Go look it up if you are brave enough to see that you are dead wrong and in denial. Mariah is in there for the “artist who had the highest pay off” And no, Mariah is only the best selling artist of the 90s. Madonna has more grammies, more grammie noms, more pop songwriting awards.
