Miley Cyrus appeared on the ‘Today’ show on Friday (August 28), performing ‘Party in the USA’, ‘The Climb’, ‘See You Again’, and ‘Kicking and Screaming’. The ‘Hannah Montana’ star also spoke with co-host Matt Lauer about the amazing amount of fans who showed up, who she’d wait out in the rain to see, being influenced by Joan Jett and Janis Joplin, and perhaps making her record label cringe by saying the album was written as inspiration for the clothing line and is “not who I am, it’s not necessarily the kind of music I want to continue to do.”
Cyrus fielded some questions for a web extra segment from last week’s musical guest, Natasha Bedingfield, who asked her about where she gets her confidence from, where she sees herself in ten years and when Miley’s gonna call her. Watch the Rockefeller Plaza live set and interview below.
So sweet! I love Natasha Bedingfield…
I would like to have her mobile number! LOL
