Emma Sophina Talks About Flight 1549 On ‘Sunrise’

Emma Sophina was interviewed by Melissa Doyle and Grant Denyer from Seven’s ‘Sunrise’ regarding surviving the US Airways Flight 1549 plane crash and her new EP ‘Wake Up’, which is going to be released in Australia in the next couple of weeks. Emma says she’s since gotten on a plane to return to Australia and fly back to New York. Watch the interview below.

Emma Sophina visited WPIX in New York City to performs the title track from her new EP ‘Wake Up’, out now on iTunes via Decca Records. The Australian singer-songwriter was a passenger on US Airways flight 1549, which made an emergency landing into the Hudson River back in January. Watch it below.

Flight 1549 Survivor Emma Sophina Performs On ‘The Early Show’

Flight 1549 survivor, singer Emma Sophina visited ‘The Early Show’ on Monday (February 9) to perform a song of thanks for Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and the crew of the plane that landed in the Hudson River.

“I was relatively calm,” the Australian singer songwriter told CBS News correspondent Priya David, “and I think that’s a true testament as to my faith in God. I was really calm, and I think that, in those situations, you realize there are things that are out of your control. And you know. ‘If it’s my time to go, it’s my time to go’.”
