After months of speculation, Madonna’s reps have confirmed that she and husband Guy Ritchie are divorcing after nearly eight years of marriage. The ‘Today’ show spoke with some fans outside Madonna’s concert in Boston last night, who said the stress of a divorce wasn’t showing during her performance. “He is fairly placid, easy going, loose, and she is a driven woman,” remarked columnist Adam Helliker. “And I think he’s finally realized this is not a woman he could ever just sit down and relax with.” Adam added that while Ritchie could go after half of her $500 million fortune, he understands that the film director isn’t going to. “It’s going to be very civilized,” Helliker said.
