Alison Sudol Creates 3 T-Shirt Designs For Alternative Apparel

Alison Sudol of checked in with her Facebook followers on Thursday (August 11), talking about teaming up with Alternative Apparel to release 3 limited edition print tees for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The singer songwriter tells readers:

My pals at Alternative Apparel and I have enlisted the help of bears, boats and trees to make a few special wearables just for you. We took a field trip to Family Industries, where I learned how screen printing is done (hint: it involves a squeegee…!), and even got to hand print one of the shirts myself!

Best of all, part of the proceeds from each shirt go to the IUCN, which is a wonderful organization that I am proud to be a Goodwill Ambassador for.

“These t-shirts, there are three different shirts and they go together,” Sudol said in the video documenting her visit to Alternative Apparel. “The concept is basically out with the new, in with the old. Within that I kind of wanted to incorporate elements of nature. So we have the tree, and the bear, and also I love ships, so there’s a tug boat as well.”
