Britney’s Ex Bodyguard Tony Barretto Speaks With ‘Hollywood 411’
Britney Spears’ former bodyguard Tony Barretto sat down with Chris Harrison of ‘Hollywood 411’ to get the scoop on the troubled pop star. The full interview airs Monday 9/8c only on the TV Guide Network. “It surprises me that no one else has the courage to speak out to tell the truth,” Barretto said. “There’s people who have spoken since I have come forward who work with her currently and it’s kind of a slap in the face to the public and her fans.”
Asked what Britney’s issue is, Tony said, “I don’t know what’s going on with her. It’s definitely apparent she’s got some mental issues, and I think the time I’ve seen her use narcotics probably didn’t help… The people around her, I don’t know what they’re like. I haven’t worked with them. Who knows what they’re doing with her or what their intentions are.” A preview clip at YouTube has since been removed by TV Guide.
