Cyndi’s album will do better than Mental Mariah’s last one. It’s on Amazon’s Top 10 sellers list. The Flop Queen’s last album didn’t even make it to Amazons Top 50 sellers. The Flop Queen has sunk below Cyndi on the has-been list.
Obviously you haven’t listened or even HEARD Cyndi’s last two albums. Amazing. Just because it’s not “girls just wanna have fun” part 2, and it’s not mainstream, doesn’t make it a flop. If she flopped, she’d have no record contract at all right now. P.S. the new album is awesome
Her new album is doing great on Amazon and ahead of Britney’s on there. This could be her first hit album in awhile.

I have a friend who’s met Cyndi Lauper a few times. She says she’s just amazing. Her concerts are always incredible as well. She truly is an underrated talent. Too many people want to focus on her ’80’s work and not take note of her more current projects. They want to pigeonhole her. That’s too bad, because she’s someone who is a true artist in every sense of the word. She has evolved, she has something to say, and she doesn’t need to use her body to say it. That’s because she cares about the quality in her music and lyrics, not going the sex sells sellout route.
Dude, “The Remixes” doesn’t count as an album. It’s only a compilation. But, if you want to consider an album and be ignorant, go ahead. You’re entertaining me anyway.
She makes a change from all these other skanks who rely on shedding their clothes rather than relying on good songs
