Drew Alexander On Why He Signed With Geffen

The Arizona Republic caught up with of Scottsdale about signing with Geffen Records, revealing that several other labels had expressed interest in him, but he trusted what Geffen music president Ron Fair, a fellow piano player, and the label had to offer. “Ron Fair is notoriously known as a music guy,” Alexander said. “He knows music, yet he’s also very proficient in the business sector of the music industry. The Interscope/Geffen offices have been stable and have been putting out hits. They seem to know what they’re doing down there, and I’m happy to be part of the team, so no regrets.” Alexander’s debut album is due out in the fall.
