Hanson Helps Out In ‘Stop The Bop’ Fundraiser

Isaac spoke with the York Daily Record to respond to the ‘Stop the Bop’ Hurricane Katrina fundraiser at Delone Catholic High School, where the shool’s student council set out to annoy the money out of students and teachers by playing Hanson’s 1996 hit ‘MMMBop’ in the hallways. “We found it amusing,” Isaac said Monday in a phone interview from Los Angeles. “Any creative way to raise money is a good thing.” He added, “Anything we can do as people is really what makes a difference.” The band matched the more than $3,000 that the students raised, and provided all 659 students with a copy of their CD ‘Underneath’, released in 2004.
