Fans of Justin Bieber are proving to be as nasty to Best New Artist Grammy Award winner Esperanza Spalding as they have been to the pop star’s rumored girlfriends. In the words of the late, great Freddy Mercury, “Is this the world that we created.” In my day death threats were considered illegal and punishable by law, no matter what the situation or indeed the intent to carry out said threats. A. Justin Bieber is a talentless toerag who got where he is because of 2 things, the tweeny factor and a magical music box called Autotune.
B. Esperanza did not ask for the award, nor did she vote, so making threats against her shows how ignorant these, for lack of a better or more polite term, ‘People’ are.
C. The grammar, spelling, pronunciation and use of words again highlights why the youth are going to doom this planet to a future like that seen in the film Idiocracy.
Oh dear, the only disappointment here is knowing that I am part of the same species as the people above.
But at least we have a starting point if we need to start fixing that overpopulated world problem ;).

These people should realize that Spalding deserves it. Justin does not deserve what he has. She is a legend. Justin is not. When Justin’s fame days are over, they’ll never remember who he was, but we’ll always remember Esperanza. It’s about time that an underground artist shut the Pop scene up a bit.
