Londell McMillan said the singer has worked out a “confidential” refinancing with Fortress Investment Group to retain ownership of the Neverland Ranch, just before the property was due to be sold off next Wednesday after Jackson defaulted on his $24.5 million mortgage.

February 5, 2008 - Expect to see a Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ medley at the Grammy awards featuring will.i.am on ‘The Girl Is Mine’, Fergie on ‘Beat It’, and possibly Kanye West on ‘Billie Jean’ and Akon on ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ on Sunday’s broadcast. According to The New York Daily News, organizers wanted Jacko to sing and dance along with the all-star line-up, but he refused. “Michael can’t go along with that,” says a source. “He needs more time to rehearse new versions of the songs. And everything requires new choreography.” Show producer Ken Ehrlich backed down, hoping viewers will tune in to see what the surgically altered singer currently looks like.
