Kevin Federline’s Attorney Discusses Custody Fight With Britney Spears
The ‘Today’ show co-host Natalie Morales spoke with Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline’s attorney, about the latest in the custody battle his client is having with ex-wife Britney Spears. Mark said Sean Preston and Jayden were doing great and “all went well” during their visit with the pop star on Mother’s Day. As for talk of a 50/50 custody arrangement, Mark said, “I think that rather than thinking in percentages, Kevin’s intent is to have an order, an arrangement that allows both parents to participate in their lives, but nobody should be fixated on needing to reach a certain percentage at any specific time.”
As for talk of a rekindled romance with Britney and K-Fed, he said, “Of course when you go from where things were when there was no visitation, to where they are now, there will be some contact and exchange of comradery that is necessary in a function of co-parenting the kids together. Whether it means something more than that, I wouldn’t know.” Watch the segment, aired Monday (May 12), below the fold.
