L.A. Reid Comes To Michael Jackson’s Defense
Jermaine Dupri and Island Def Jam boss L.A. Reid both spoke in support of Michael Jackson at Mariah Carey’s party for her album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ on Thursday (April 21) at Cipriani Restaurant in New York City. “The media has been completely unfair to Michael Jackson,” Reid complained to The New York Daily News. “One is innocent until proven guilty, and [he] is one of our icons. He should be treated with respect, and I think the media has been completely disrespectful to him throughout this very difficult process.”

Conclave Option 3
April 22, 2005 - Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, “I’m sure you know by now how they picked the Pope. if you see black smoke, they haven’t reached a vote; if you see white smoke, they have reached a vote; and if you should see black smoke disguised as white smoke, that means they voted Michael Jackson guilty.”
True. always innocent until proven guilty. if we already people as guilty before they have their day in trial then innocent people will suffer. look at some of the people in death row who were found innocent.
I agree. Calling him “whacko jacko” and other names is completely disrespectful. The media has given more respect to serial killers. Anyways, I’m a big fan of Michael Jackson’s music, but he has brought some of this on himself. He is his own worst enemy, but newspapers and other media are being very unprofessional.
