Lee DeWyze Discusses New Single, ‘Idol’, Influences & More
‘American Idol’ winner Lee DeWyze stopped by the Fox All Access studios to talk to host Chris Leary about his life since winning ‘Idol’, his new single ‘Beautiful Like You’, his singing style, having a lot of musical influences growing up, and more. “I didn’t do covers until ‘Idol’,” Lee said when asked about his start in Chicago. “I did one or two covers ever. I had a band, we played for three years together and we had a good little following in the city. We’d play a show and we’d get a couple hundred in there.
