Paula Abdul Backstage At ‘American Idol’

ABC News went backstage with at ‘American Idol’, where she talked about being unfairly criticized. Abdul said the first season she “quit seven times”, how she’s “not the girl that’s in those tapes” from ‘Hey Paula’, calling it “plotting, scheming, editing” and “that was not accurate documentation of my life.” A preview of the full ‘Nightline’ feature aired this morning on ‘Good Morning America’. The report added that Paula and fellow ‘Idol’ judge Randy Jackson only learned of Kara Dioguardi joining the show as the fourth judge on her way to the first audition. Paula Abdul On Paying Tribute To Scott MacIntrye

April 9, 2009 - Paula Abdul reacted to Scott MacIntrye’s run on ‘American Idol’ coming to an end on Wednesday night, after the judge offered some heartfelt thoughts to the visually impaired singer, calling him “an inspiration to the entire world” and “one classy gentleman.” Abdul writes on her Twitter account (@PaulaAbdul):
