Robbie Williams Buys Home Near Take That Pal Mark Owen

The Sunday Mirror reports that Robbie Williams is to buy a £2million country retreat in the Lake District, just 22 miles away from his former Take That bandmate Mark Owen. “It’s a stunning house,” a source said. “It is ideal for Robbie because it is very private and in a beautiful location. It will also give him the chance to see more of Mark, who he has always been very close to.”

July 18, 2005 - The Sun reports that Robbie Williams is looking towards adopting a reggae sound on his forthcoming LP ‘Intensive Care’. “Robbie’s been listening to a lot of dub and reggae and was inspired to try it himself,” a source revealed. “When he sang it for the first time, those who heard it compared it to a young Bob Marley. He has given the reggae sound a modern twist and his voice really suits the music.”
