Amy Pearson Co-Writes A Song For Zoe Badwi

Amy Pearson updated fans on her blog at MySpace (@amypearsonmusic) on Sunday (May 23), discussing a song she wrote for Australian dance-pop singer Zoe Badwi. The 24-year-old pop singer, who was recently dropped by her label Sony, told readers:

Hi everyone! So many changes and so much to fill you in on!! My next release is FreeFallin performed by Zoe Badwi! I can’t wait for you to hear the track!! I wrote it with DENZAL PARK and it encapsulates everything I feel right now, freedom and excitement about the future! ZOE BADWI is an incredible artist signed to NEON records and you’re gonna love the track!! To everyone at Co. on Saturday night thanks so much for your support, it was great to be back on stage so close with the fans again!!! So I’m heading to the UK for a while to create some new music and redefine my sound, but will be checking in all the time! 2010 is gonna be an amazing year!! Amy Pearson ‘Butterfingers’ Video Behind The Scenes

Amy Pearson posted behind the scenes footage on the set of her ‘Butterfingers’ music video, the first release from 24-year-old’s second album ‘Poparazzi’. “It’s like a party in the car park,” the Australia based pop singer says in the clip. “We’ve got huge neon balloons and a neon catwalk and we’re just strutting our stuff.” Video at her MySpace has since been removed.

The video features her new single ‘Butterfingers’, the first release from the 24-year-old’s sophomore album out next year on Sony BMG.

“We’re having a great day so far,” Amy says in the video. “I think this would be one of my favorite outfits because I’m loving corsetry… I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see the photos too.”

Hey everyone,

I’ve been back in the studio for a few weeks now and I can’t wait for you to hear my new music!! It’s been awesome to write again, so much has changed in my life since I wrote the first album and I think that shows through the music. It’s a lot more fun and confident and I just want people to turn it up and feel good!!

I’ll be performing at Melbourne Cup in November, but I’m basically living in the studio at the moment… and loving it!!

Amy Pearson is out with the video to her debut single ‘Don’t Miss You’. “When I first moved to Australia I was in a long-distance relationship and unfortunately one day I received a call from him telling me that it was all over,” the 21-year old UK native explained. “The first single ‘Don’t Miss You’ is in fact all about realizing that sometimes you’re better off mving on, letting go of what you don’t really need, and standing on your own two feet.” Watch it via YouTube below.
