Ben Jelen Has Seen Many Sides Of Music Biz

HipOnline.com recently spoke with Ben Jelen and asked if it was because he’s done a lot of different things he’s been able to keep grounded. “I’ve seen the other side of it. I was an intern, engineer and producer so I’ve seen people come and go,” Jelen said. “I’ve got some prospect of this life and side of it. Seeing that side, it has helped. It has kept me focused.”

The 24-year-old decided to ditch a career in the science lab for one in a music studio. “It’s tough for me to be passionate about science,” he admitted. “[I’d be] cleaning my test tubes, wishing I was playing guitar.”
