‘Canadian Idol’ season three winner Melissa O’Neil and runner-up Rex Goudie confessed to CTV on Thursday that they are indeed romantically involved. “We’ve been together and we’ve been doing a pretty good job keeping a secret of it since, what… our third week of Idol,” Goudie said, causing O’Neil to buckle over in shock of the confession.

Melissa O’Neil Wins ‘Canadian Idol’

The third ‘Canadian Idol’ went to Calgary teen Melissa O’Neil, who was elated to be announced the winner. “I am incredibly proud to be the first female Canadian Idol,” the bubbly and mature 17-year-old gushed after Wednesday night’s show finale.
