Prima J cousins Janelle Martinez and Jessica Martinez talked with Fox News Channel about having a lot of input in how they’re portrayed, keeping their music rooted in the Latin culture, plans for a Spanish album, and staying grounded thanks to each other and their families.

Jessica Martinez of Prima J checked in with fans on the Latin pop duo’s blog at MySpace (@primaj) on Friday (August 15). Jess writes:
Hey everyone! Sooo I know its been a while since we wrote …. We’ve been on a tour bus with NO internet!! Lol… Besides that the tour bus is great!! Haha… We have a mini kitchen… bunks and TVs so its a lot more comfortable and a lot more fun than an plane lol
So as you all know me and Nelly are currently touring with Jesse McCartney and Jordin Sparks… Its an all “J” tour hehehe…. We’ve had six shows so far and they get better every time!! We got to meet both Jesse and Jordin and they are both such great people and amazing performers!!
