Despite the loss of Brian McFadden and a sour U.S. market for boybands, Westlife star Mark Feehily tells Neil Sean of Sky News the group hopes to make another bid for an American release. “We’re all still focused and like the idea of going global,” Feehily said. “We have been offered a few deals in the past but the latest one has just come at the right time.”

The People reports Westlife’s visit to a safari park in Liverpool turned scary after a 15ft white rhino took exception to the band’s vehicle, attempting to charge them and their driver. The boy band’s guide had to speed away in the car to avoid a collision. “It certainly caused a bit of excitement in the car and we had to beat a hasty retreat,” Knowsley Safari Park boss David Ross said. “The rhino was sweltering in the heat and I think we got a bit too close.
