Tatum O’Neal Denies Seducing Young Michael Jackson

Entertainment Tonight reports Tatum O’Neal has responded to the claim in the Martin Bashir documentary aired last night that the actress attempted to seduce him. “I am just as shocked as everyone else from what I saw last night,” says Tatum in a statement. “I have a great deal of respect for Michael Jackson as an artist and as a person. However, he has a very vivid imagination. His comments about our friendship were inaccurate. Michael did come over to my house when my father was home, but at 12 years old, there was no way I was capable of being as mature or as sophisticated as he claimed I was. My heart goes out to Michael Jackson and I wish my very best to him and his family.”

Rowe Resents Talk That Jacko Isn’t A Good Dad

February 7, 2003 - Michael Jackson’s ex-wife and mother of two of their children Debbie Rowe spoke with GMTV following the controversial Martin Bashir documentary on the King of Pop. “I resent anyone making allegations that Michael is not a proper parent,” she said. “He is a fabulous man and such a good friend and he’s always been there for me. I could do something for him and this is what I wanted to do.” Speaking of Jacko’s family, she said: “People think something has to be traditional. They have this notion of Beaver Cleaver. That wasn’t reality in the 50s and that’s not reality in the 21st century. We have a non-traditional family and if it makes people uncomfortable it’s a shame they are not more open.”

Jacko’s Baby Has A Nickname For Him Too

February 7, 2003 - Conan O’Brien joked during his Late Night monologue on Thursday, “In an interview that aired earlier this evening, Michael Jackson says his nickname for his new baby is ‘blanket.’ Yeah, not surprisingly, the baby’s nickname for Jackson is ‘nutjob.’ So they have nicknames, which is nice.”
