Westlife Will Always Be Friends With Brian McFadden

The girls from The Mirror’s 3AM gossip column were amongst the 40 finalists at the Marriott hotel in County Hall, London to determine who will guest on Westlife’s duet for the foursome’s Rat Pack-style album and appear on a prime-time ITV1 special with the boy band. They also got Shane Filan to comment on the departed member Brian McFadden. “He looks great and is much happier. He just wasn’t happy before,” Shane said. “He’s writing about what he wants now - and if that’s about how much he didn’t like being in the band, then fair enough. But we will always be friends with him - we were all like a family.”
