Alanis Morissette Loves Love Songs

There’s a lot of love on Alanis Morissette’s latest album ‘So-Called Chaos’: most directed at her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds. “I love love songs,” Morissette tells Australia’s Beat magazine. “It’s like a nap, such a restful, rejuvenation thing, the cheesy love thing. I played that song [‘Knees of My Bees’, where she refers to Reynolds as “a sliver of god on a platter” and “a vision who lives by the signals of stomach and intuition as your guide”] for him the night I wrote it. He was very touched. I still don’t think he believes I wrote it about him. He was blown away.”
