December 24, 2007 - In a post-game press conference following the Dallas Cowboys win over the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night, quarterback Tony Romo discussed the drama surrounding the previous week’s loss and the blame that was cast on his girlfriend Jessica Simpson for being in attendance. “I just put tunnel vision on,” he explained. “There’s so many distractions about junk sometimes. Jessica Simpson Won’t Be Going To Dallas Cowboy Games
December 21, 2007 - JoJo Wright of KIIS FM in Los Angeles, who is a self professed fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo, said in a video clip at kiisfm.com he contacted Jessica Simpson’s father Joe by e-mail with the idea of doing a bit to assure fans she wouldn’t be attending boyfriend Tony Romo’s games. The singer had received a lot of criticism after Romo had his worst game of the season in a 10-6 loss to the Phildelphia Eagles. JoJo said, “Turns out, she’s gonna be laying low, so she will not be going to the game, but I’m not going to be doing the bit because they just want to let this sort of go away.” Besides, the Cowboys’ final two regular season games are on the road in Carolina and Washington, DC.
