Charice: A Star Is Born

Charice Pempengco is out with a sizzle reel, documenting her past television appearances, including ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. The 17-year-old Philippines native, discovered via YouTube in 2007, is releasing her self-titled US debut CD on May 11th via 143/Reprise Records - the day after her 18th birthday. Her first single, ‘Pyramid’, features labelmate Iyaz (who recently spent four weeks at #1 with his smash hit, ‘Replay’) and is already making waves on Top 40 radio.
