Clay Aiken Offers Tour Of Raleigh Home
‘American Idol’ season two runner-up Clay Aiken offered WRAL reporter Lynda Loveland a tour of his Raleigh, North Carolina home. Aiken talked about having an ‘Idol’ pool tournament at the home with Kelly Clarkson and Ruben Studdard.
Talking about his kitchen, Clay said, “Everything has to be in order and lined up. I’m very OCD about the kitchen, which is strange, because I really can’t cook. So I don’t know how to do anything in here, but everything must be blue or silver.”
Talking about a dinner party he tried to throw when he moved in, Clay said, “The amount of food that we made was nowhere near the amount necessary for the people who were in the room, so people were asking for seconds on salad. You know when people ask for seconds on salad that you have a problem.”
Talking about his party with Kelly and Ruben, Clay said, “They both came over and we had an ‘Idol’ night here where everybody spent the night and played pool. Ruben and Kelly competed in a pool tournament for ‘Idol’.”
