Colbie Caillat Sings ‘Happy Birthday’
Colbie Caillat recorded a video for The American Cancer Society where she sings “Happy Birthday” as part of their “more birthdays” campaign. The singer songwriter told fans on her blog at MySpace (@colbiecaillat) about the news:
Hey everyone! I got a great opportunity to be a part of The American Cancer Society’s “More Birthdays” campaign! Check out the video Justin & I did and you can even send the video as a greeting to someone you know celebrating a birthday! While there, you can check out videos from lots of great artists who participated in this: Jack Johnson, Justin Bieber, Chicago, Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Train and many, many more! For nearly 100 years, the American Cancer Society has been working to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. The movement for more birthdays is about everyday people, just like you, coming together to make a difference. This year more than 11 million cancer survivors will celebrate another birthday, thanks in part to the progress we’ve already made. But we can’t stop there. With every person who joins the movement, we can get closer to the day when cancer never steals another year from someone’s life. It all starts by helping people stay well and get well, and by finding cures and fighting back! American Cancer Society
