Demi Lovato Gets Emotional Performing ‘Don’t Forget’ In Tampa
Demi Lovato began crying and struggled to performing ‘Don’t Forget’ at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa on Friday night (July 31), explaining her emotional moment before performing ‘Get Back’. “Sorry, I just felt like super emotional guys,” the 16-year-old told the audience. “It’s like all week I’ve been doing stupid interviews and stuff, and they’re like, ‘What’s it like to have the #1 record?’ And you’re like, ‘Oh, it feels great’, but I don’t really rate my happiness on that. My happiness comes from my family and from my friends. But for some reason, just seeing like so many again, just really opened my eyes and I feel like I really do have that spot.”
Demi wrote on her Twitter (@ddlovato) after the show:
So… it finally hit me. I can’t believe my dreams are coming true! I totally lost it on stage… I love my fans SO much. Thank you guys.
