A spokeswoman for the singer said, “Gareth has been moving around a lot since starting Pop Idol, so he is very much looking forward to settling into his new place. Meanwhile, the Pop Idol contestant he lost to, Will Young, dropped two slots to #4 as Ali G and Shaggy’s ‘Me Julie’ hit #2, while Shakira’s ‘Whenever, Wherever’ got the #3 spot.
