While the final resting place of Michael Jackson’s body remains unknown, the investigation into what killed him enters a new phase. Nick Cannon Discusses Mariah’s Michael Jackson Memorial Performance
July 10, 2009 - ‘America’s Got Talent’ host Nick Cannon spoke with ‘Access Hollywood’ about his wife Mariah’s performance at the memorial for Michael Jackson and the somber mood at the Staples Center. Cannon said things worked out for Mariah’s schedule since both were already in Los Angeles, but things happened fast enough where Mariah wasn’t able to rehearse. Before Mariah performed, Nick said they “said a prayer, left it all in God’s hands, and let it happen. I definitely felt her performance moved many, many people. ‘Thriller’ Director John Landis Remembers Michael Jackson
July 10, 2009 - John Landis, director of the music video ‘Thriller’, discussed Michael Jackson’s gift for performing, disciplined talent and struggles as a tortured and complex celebrity with CBS News’ Richard Roth. Landis said he was “taken about about what he did to his face and his body” when later directing the ‘Black Or White’ video. When he asked Jackson why he dyed his skin white, the pop star didn’t speak to him for two years. Watch the comments below.
