The New York Daily News reports former dueling divas Jennifer Lopez and Madonna have ended their feud after meeting up at the memorial service for photographer Herb Ritts on Sunday. “Madonna was with her daughter, Lourdes, while J.Lo arrived with Ben Affleck,” a spy revealed. “Lopez spent most of the event with 6-year-old Lourdes, telling her how gorgeous she was. Madonna even told J.Lo that Lourdes is constantly singing ‘Jenny From the Block.'”

January 28, 2003 - The New York Daily News reports there could be trouble in the impending marriage between Jennifer and Ben, fueled by a reported argument the couple had at Sundance, and it caused execs at Columbia Pictures to scramble into an emergency strategy session. The rumor and movie house unease seemed to have settled down after it was learned J.Lo went to Chicago last week, where Ben is filming ‘Surviving Christmas’. A source close to Lopez argued that “if anything, the problem is Jennifer wants to spend so much time with Ben; she’s reluctant to do a lot of international press for [Columbia’s] ‘Maid in Manhattan.'”

January 22, 2003 - Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells the New York Post that the reports she yanked her daughter Lourdes from the posh Lycee Francais school and plans to leave England are greatly exaggerated. “The family is in L.A. now and Lourdes is going to school there,” she says, “but they’re returning to London some time in the spring and she’ll be back at school in London then.”
