Jennifer Lopez Talks Overwork & Overexposure
Jennifer Lopez was on Access Hollywood on Friday where she addressed whether being constantly in the headlines and working in several films on top of her music career will lead to overexposure. Lopez said, “I worry about certain things sometimes, like spreading myself too thin, not having enough time to contribute to everything. I think as far as overexposure and things like that it’s a tricky thing, but I don’t take on anything that I don’t feel extremely passionate about.” Read on for a transcript.
I’m Pat O’Brien. It’s the nagging tabloid rumor that won’t leave j.Lo. Alone — that she’s pregnant. Jennifer separates fact from fiction.
Lopez: Preggers. No, no preggers right now.
O’Brien: Jennifer lopez on the record and laughing off tabloid reports that she is pregnant, or preggers as she called it.
Lopez: Not right now, no. You’ll be the first to know. I’m sure you guys will know before I do. You know, they start these rumors all the time, you know what I mean? It’s not the only one. They do it to Jennifer Aniston. They do it to everybody. I think it’s just kind of, you know, they are waiting.
O’Brien: But Jennifer says she is looking forward to a family in the future.
Lopez: Yeah, I mean, eventually. I come from a very close family, very loving family, so it’s something that i know will be my stability and my happiness.
O’Brien: Of course, Hollywood’s hardest working gal certainly would have no time right now for babies. She’s an actress, a singer, a clothing designer, a restauranteur, and there’s more to come.
Lopez: Perfume. Because it’s good. I don’t want anybody to miss it or else I wouldn’t bring it up.
O’Brien: And listen to this crazy schedule — she just wrapped up production on ‘Gigli’, a crime comedy co-starring Ben Affleck. On Tuesday she was in Harlem filming her new music video, ‘I’m gonna be all right.’ On Monday she’ll start production on the movie ‘the chambermaid’ with Ralph Fiennes. And this week she’s in new york promoting her latest film, the thriller ‘enough.’ But is j.Lo. In danger of overexposure?
Lopez: I worry about certain things sometimes, like spreading myself too thin, not having enough time to contribute to everything. I think as far as overexposure and things like that it’s a tricky thing, but I don’t take on anything that i don’t feel extremely passionate about.
O’Brien: Her thriller opens may 24th. We’ll have more with j.Lo on Monday and you’ll like it.
