Kevin Richardson And David LaChapelle Get Krumped

MTV News reported that Backstreet Boys star Kevin Richardson will be promoting David LaChapelle’s Sundance Film Festival documentary on a dance style called ‘Krumped.’ LaChapelle got introduced to it while in Los Angeles shooting the ‘Dirrty’ video for Christina Aguilera. “Apparently the word krumped goes back a long ways, from the black church. When you’re krumped, you’re feeling it. It’s about being brave and doing something with grace,” LaChapelle said. The dance mixes African tribal dances, hip hop, and martial arts.
