I love Mariah Carey. Her music is enchanting, beautiful, creative, and just amazing. But just like any artist that releases a remix on their past or recent songs, I really don’t understand the point. The songs are good by themselves, why do they have to be remixed? Personally, I think remixes are sometimes very annoying, and sometimes kill the meaning of the song with repetition on annoying beats on the background, and are just in a sense an easy way for an artist to get money. Like I said before, I love Mariah’s music, but I wouldn’t really waste my money to by remixed songs when I could just listen to the original.

Quote: “what’s the point?” This from a person who has negative remarks about New Kids on the Block AND Vanilla Ice in their member name. I guess nothing else better happened in the past 12 years for you to comment about? Get over it man, let it go! lol. I think this remix CD is great…even though its just another marketing ploy Sony is using to squeeze more money out of her work with them. Mariah always has great remixes and dance mixes and unlike most, she actually takes part in the remix projects and will often re-sing her vocals. Which is another thing she is known for.

I can’t wait for this remix CD to come out, Mariah’s remixes are the best, and I love the new tracks on there like “Miss You” and “The One” Remix with Bone Crusher!!! I definitely be coping that album on the 14th!

Before anyone starts saying anything about the remixes CD, and how she’s trying to make money, she doesn’t have a choice, its not her trying to make money, it’s Sony, Sony is the on releasing the Remix CD, they are still trying to make money of her, so before all the trash talking starts, you all should just know the facts.

  5. jazzprofounder says:

I’m not trying to diss this project, I know that remix albums are just a industry ploy to get money out of the artist. I love Mariah Carey’s songs, and some of her remixes are very hot, unlike some, which are very very annoying.

  6. weebongo says:

No one bought her double CD hits album why would anyone get this crap of tired remixes. The So Def mixes are all horrible, of course stupid Mariah would fill it with them.

  7. tena says:

It was her choice to have her songs after she left Sony on there. And aren’t you the one who said she puts new vocals on her remixes, and remixes herself. If that is true, then she would have some financial gain in it. Maybe some lambs need to stop being delusional.
