Police Shut Down Justin Bieber’s ‘Sunrise’ Performance

checked in with his Twitter followers (@justinbieber) moments ago to react to his scheduled performance on channel 7’s ‘Sunrise’ morning show in Sydney, Australia was canceled by orders of the police. The 16-year-old writes:

I love my fans… and I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning. I want to sing for my fans

I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR… I DON’T CANCEL… I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO THE POLICE CANCELING THE SHOW FOR SAFETY REASONS

I love my fans… I love it here in Australia… and I want to sing…

The ‘Sunrise’ show seemed to agree with the decision, writing on their Twitter (@sunriseon7):

At least 10 fans were treated for fainting when crushed in the crowd waiting to see #JustinBieber We agree the safety of fans comes 1st.

We don’t have any official news yet on if there will be an appearance from @justinbieber at all during Sunrise this morning.

BERETTA: We’ve never seen crowds this big&wild for any performer ever in Oz! Good call by the police, it’s not worth any1 getting hurt for.
