Sara Bareilles Works On ‘Uncharted’ In The Studio

The second webisode in the making of Sara Bareilles’ new album ‘Kaleidoscope Heart’ has been posted online. Sara introduces her band in the clip before they worked on the song ‘Uncharted’. The singer songwriter told her MySpace friends about the track:

This song saved me in a way. This was the one that finally helped me break through my writer’s block. At the suggestion of my friend, Eric Rosse (who produced Little Voice) I turned all my pain and worry and fear into something that made sense. And this song came out, and the flood gates opened for the rest of the record.

On a side note, this is also my dad’s favorite song on the record. He’s already decided that he wants me to play this on a really big stage and have a whole orchestra on stage while I walk around the audience and point at things emphatically. I told him I’d work on that. you like it.
