Spices Gave Geri Halliwell Bulimia

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell suggested that her troubling bout with bulimia and anorexia was linked to the Spice Girls as she talked to 200 health experts at Harvard University. The singer chewed her nails while sharing her struggles while at the podium for 15 minutes. Geri added she was also driven to binge by her nickname, Podge Spice.

“I went into the Spice Girls, and I was one of the curvy ones,” she said, according to The Sun. “Living with other girls you are going to compare a bit. When you are in your disease it’s very sneaky. I didn’t want to share that I was going back to my hotel room and bingeing on cakes. It wasn’t something I was very proud of.”
