With just a few days left until Christmas, Alyssa Bernal has covered the classic holiday song ‘Winter Wonderland’, putting her own spin on the version recorded by her favorite artist Jason Mraz. When asked what’s on her own Christmas wishlist, Alyssa shared that she’s hoping for gift cards to her favorite stores (like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters) or a new iPod. “Mine ran out of memory space - I think I need another one so I can have more music,” she said. Step into the recording studio with Alyssa Bernal and Lifehouse’s Jason Wade, as they discuss how their duet ‘Hold Me Tight’ came to life. “I just loved her voice,” Jason says. “We sang both of the choruses out there together in the same mic-room, kind of an old-school way of recording.”

‘Hold Me Tight’, along with the single ‘Cali, Cali, Cali’, are featured on Alyssa’s EP on iTunes and will be tracks on her debut album, scheduled for release in early 2011.

The singer songwriter explained the concept of the video as reminiscing about a road trip to California and the boy she met along the way. “It’s unforgettable,” she says. “I had an amazing time. Such a great experience.” Alyssa’s full-length debut ‘In Love Again For The First Time’ will be released early next year, but her self-titled EP is available now on iTunes.

Alyssa Bernal, recently discovered from YouTube by super-star producer Pharrell, has released the official music video for her first single ‘Cali, Cali, Cali’. The song is available now on iTunes as part of her new EP, and will be featured on the singer-songwriter’s Star Trak Records debut ‘In Love Again For the First Time’, due out early next year. Alyssa Bernal posted a recap of her shows in Boston and New York City opening for Lifehouse on the Smokes and Mirrors Tour. Alyssa introduced her bandmates were seen first hanging out backstage before they were seen performing her debut single ‘Cali Cali Cali’. “I think we did really well for our first gig on tour,” Alyssa said afterward.
