Celine Dion Recording ‘Alone’ With Ben Moody

Celine Dion talks about why she covered 'Alone' by HeartFootage of Celine Dion in the studio recording a cover of Heart’s classic ‘Alone’ with former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody has been posted at the Canadian pop singer’s YouTube channel.

“My family grew up with Heart,” Dion said. “With that kind of music. And I remember listening to them. Of course I was too young to sing that. It was much too rock n’ roll to me. If it’s one girl who wants to make me play guitar, it’s those girls.”

‘Alone’ is featured on Dion’s 2007 release ‘Taking Chances’.

Me-me-me.tv caught up with Celine Dion for a Q&A, asking the singer about whether she has a naughty said. “I don’t think so. I’m that good. I’m a good girl,” the 39-year-old insisted. “I’m not a troublemaker. I party when it’s time. I don’t do drugs. I don’t drink.” Asked if she’d ever done drugs, Dion insisted, “Never.” Pressed further about whether she’d even taken one little puff, she conceded, “The only time I did one puff was in Holland, where it’s legal. And I went to a cafeteria with some girls, with the little boats and the canals and we stopped and I tried… Nothing. No. But I didn’t choke. I took one puff and I said, ‘Ok, nothing happened!’ It was funny. It was for us like cheating. ‘Oooh!’ You know, there might be paparazzi!” Read more.

After nearly five years of performances at of ‘A New Day’ at Caesars Palace, Celine Dion wrapped up her stint in Las Vegas on Saturday night. “It’s hard to believe that we’ve come to an end,” Dion told the audience. Her husband Rene Angelil and her 7-year-old son Rene Charles joined the singer on stage at one point. The prior night, Dion had performed before Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes. An attendee told People magazine, “Tom and Katie walked in before the show started and the crowd went crazy. Tom waved to the crowd and signed numerous autographs,” Read more from People.
