Corbin Bleu Doesn’t Like The Sound Of His Own Voice

Webisode 2 of Corbin Bleu’s ‘Being’ series for Pepsi Smash features the ‘High School Musical’ star in the studio talking about the work involved in the recording process and admitting he doesn’t like his voice. “Singing definitely is different for me,” Bleu said. “I picked up acting and dance when I was two years old. Those are my first loves. Then I started taking choir when I was in elementary school, so that’s when music started coming into my life. For me, I don’t personally enjoy my voice actually. It’s one of those things. I don’t really fully enjoy listening to the sound of my voice.”

Corbin Bleu Promotes ‘Free Style’ At Motocross Event

Popstar! magazine was on the scene when Corbin Bleu and Madison Pettis promoted their upcoming movie ‘Free Style’ with a motocross event. “I hope you guys enjoy the film,” Corbin told the attendees. “It’s got something for everybody out here. All the guys are very much into motocross, we try to stay true to it as much as we can. We wanted to capture the spirit and passion of the sport and what you guys really really put your hearts into.” Watch the video below.

Corbin Bleu Hits Jungle Room Recording Studios On His Birthday

Pepsi Smash’s ‘Being Corbin Bleu’ features the ‘High School Musical’ star visiting the Jungle Room Recording Studios in Glendale on February 21, 2008, which happened to be the singer’s 19th birthday. Bleu was working with Eric Hudson and Claude Kelly on his second album ‘Speed of Light’, which comes out March 10th on Hollywood Records. While busy working, Corbin was surprised by his father and kid sisters with a giant shoe birthday cake. In a preview of the next episode, Corbin admits to not liking the sound of his own voice.

Corbin Bleu and Justin Martin visit Bronwyn Arnold, winner of the Sarah Lee Lunchtime is Showtime video contest, where the ‘High School Musical 3’ stars presented the school with a $25,000 check. “There’s nothing better to be able to have kids cheering you on,” said afterwards. “Because kids are so genuine. Corbin Bleu DoSomething.org Food Drive PSA

Corbin Bleu does a PSA for DoSomething.orgCorbin Bleu is out with a PSA in support of DoSomething.org, where the ‘High School Musical’ star talks about running food drives in your community to support the 12 million kids in the U.S. who are at risk of going to bed hungry. Participants can win $1,000 for an arts or music program they’re involved with.

“Help us collect a million pounds of food by December 15th. We’ll be hooking up the biggest and best drive with some sweet prizes,” Corbin says in the clip.

The fact that we’ve got to do this together for three years, and we’re not sick of each other, and we still love each other so much is amazing. We’re just so close, and I’m really gonna miss them, because that really happens on a blue moon. It’s very rare.”
