Daisy Dares You Gutted She’ll Never See Michael Jackson Live
Daisy Coburn, aka Daisy Dares You, checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@daisydaresyoumusic) on Monday (June 29), sharing her thoughts on the death of Michael Jackson. The teen alt-pop singer writes:
I actually feel genuinely really sad and upset for Jackson, he was such a mover and a talented addition to this world, so many good tunes, and such a performer with incredible impact on his audience, I feel gutted I never got to see him live, and I feel sad for him, as the press exploited him, were extremely cruel, and I think changed him, and now they have time for him, makes me sick, I can’t believe he died early, was it an escape for him? No I don’t think so, I think he started too young, he had no childhood and as this aspect of life was taken away from him he grew up without a certain natural experience everyone usually is entitled to, therefore it tried to catch up with him, Micheal Jackson is a hero and a legend … heroes are remembered, but legends live forever, and in his music, he will live forever in his fans hearts. Rest in peace.. I wanna rock with you all night

Michael Jackson’s Dad Speaks Out At BET Awards
June 29, 2009 - Michael’s father Joe spoke publicly for the first time since his son’s death to CNN’s Don Lemon at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 28). Joe said that while he couldn’t talk about the circumstances surrounding the King of Pop’s passing, he was suspicious. “I can’t get into that,” Jackson said. “But I don’t like what happened.”
As for the love that has been showered towards Michael after a long period of media scrutiny, Joe wished it could have been displayed a little earlier. “I wish the world had recognized him when he were living…. But right now he’s bigger than ever right now,” Joe said. “I wish he were here to see all this, to hear all this.” Video of the interview at Turner.com has since been removed.
