I shall be playing the role of Beth in the new 2010 Tour of Jeff Wayne’s “The War of The Worlds”!!

I’m so very excited to be involved in the show, and although it seems quite a long way off now, I’m sure it will come around in no girl at all. Oh and girls… guess who I will be staring alongside… none other than 80s heart throb himself Mr Jason Donovan! Oh yes!!

We are taking the Tour to UK and Europe, so I really hope as many of you as possible will come and along and support me at your nearest venue.

Liz McClarnon Deeply Saddened By Stephen Gately’s Death

Firstly, I have to say I am deeply saddened by the news about Stephen Gately! As you all know I have been a Boyzone fan since they began and I was lucky enough to know him, once my own career began. Last year I took my oldest friend Aimee to meet the Boyz in Liverpool (she adored Stephen) and she was so happy to finally meet him. (I posted the pic on Twitter) Stephen took time for people. He always made you feel like he was really interested in what you were up to etc. He was a good, good man! God, Saturday was such a sad day for so many people!! All I can do is wish his family, my deepest empathy!

Liz McClarnon Writes A Sad Song Called ‘Stay’

I was in the studio with producers called Redeye, they were so funny and we wrote very cool song called “Who You Are”…..gorgeous! They’ve worked with all sorts of people like Mutya and everyone and let me tell you i heard a song they did with her….i mean we ALL know that girl’s got a CRACKING voice but Oh My God you should hear her on this track, it will honestly knock you out!! She couldn’t have really done all those ad-libs in the Sugababes because everyone has to get a bit in don’t they…but i hope you get to hear her! You go girl!

I was also in with my chums Tinderbox and we started writing this song called “Stay” Oh my god, it’s so so sad! I’ve only ever had to hold tears in twice before while writing a song once was when writing “Kisses” because it’s about loved ones dying, the other was when I wrote, “Never Get Over You” for a Kittens album and now i did it again after writing Stay! Oh my god! Very pointed! I hope to finish that ASAP so you can hear it!

Mohammed Ali gig was very, very good!! Everyone was up for a party! Big style… I was saying on Twitter I got a pic with the lovely gent Mr Ali (will post it up!!) And he was so funny, he was just sat there quietly getting his pics taken with everyone and when I walked up to him, he go this huge smile on his face and put his arm out and had hold of me for the pic! Everyone was laughing their heads off! And when you see the pic you’ll laugh ’cause I’m beaming!

Liz McClarnon Hopes To Release New Single Mid-November

Err hello totally forgot the news…I know you already know but let’s just say it again… I’m Signed!! Did you see my pic on Twitter! It was such a funny day actually because I was working so hard and had to make my way to the Belta office to sign the deal… we had to rush it through so we were just doing it by scanning backwards and forwards… very surreal but done (they want to release the single very soon so we had to rush it) So the single will be out (hopefully) Mid November just depends on who else is out and if we can get the video done ASAP…. the meeting for that is next week and there have been some Brilliant suggestions as for what to do in it… Hey… here’s an idea… How about you make some too?? That’d be class… imagine if YOUR suggestion made it into the video!! Wow! So yeah…let me know.

Liz McClarnon’s Theory On How She Was Misquoted About Lily Allen

I guess I should start with saying…. As I’m sure, you’re all aware I have never said about anyone in my flipping life…. “She better watch out!”

Apparently, I said that the other day about Lily Allen… erm… nope! Now, I’ve been racking my brains trying to think where that came from and I have a thought! (Yes, was painful!)… I did an interview about two/three months ago where a journo said to me, something like… you don’t like Lily Allen? And just said… it’s not that, I just didn’t like her comments and the faces she pulled, on the Ant and Dec show that time… nothing more! The journo then proceeded to RANT about the girl for quite a while (obviously not a fan) to which my response was mostly…. “No?”… “Really?”…. “Ooooo”…. etc…. So, maybe it was that?! Actually, alot of comments she makes do tickle me… so Whatevs! Naughty Journo! But actually it doesn’t matter does it?! It happens all the time!

Liz McClarnon Denies Making Comments Critical Of Lily Allen

After the Daily Star reported that she made remarks critical of Lily Allen, Liz McClarnon took to her Twitter (@LizMcClarnon) to deny ever making the comments to the British tabloid. “I absolutely detest Lily Allen,” the newspaper quoted the former Atomic Kitten singer as saying. “She has such a bad attitude and I don’t like people who don’t want to do any work. I think she’s had a push from her dad.”

Linking in with Mr Jackson, I actually met Quincy Jones the other day!! What a cool dude with a brilliant sense of humor! That was such a brilliant day for me!! I saw Beverley Knight the same day actually and we had a little catch up…. She’s playing Newcastle in November so I’ll make the most of that… Go and watch her and have a good few days up there too! Brill! She said she fancies coming to watch me in the West End too! That’ll be funny! What a genuine woman! I love her!

Well I have to start this blog with some strange news… there will be no release of The Single today! There are legal reasons for it not coming out but hey… it’s nothing to do with me… I was only featuring anyhow! It’s to do with the company who were releasing it and the download around the world. But I am disappointed of course!!! It’s taken up A LOT of my time where I could be working on my own music! Oh dear oh dear oh dear…. and Breathe!! That’s my “the secret” kicking in!! And you’ve GOT TO believe me!! It so works!! I’ve been getting everything I want! Even if something not so great happens, something AMAZING comes out of it! I am so grateful for it!!!
