Westlife: Bryan McFadden Is Dead And Gone
In an interview after Westlife’s opening night gig in Belfast, a furious Nicky Byrne talked about how the group felt departing member Bryan McFadden was “dead and gone” in the minds of the boy band. “When he first told us, it was like a knife through the heart and I’ll never be able to explain that feeling,” Byrne admitted. “I spent so much time trying to talk him round you wouldn’t believe - but there was no way any of us could change his mind.” Asked why Bryan’s name wasn’t mentioned during the world tour kickoff, Byrne said, “If we keep mentioning him on stage it will only make our fans think we aren’t moving on and that’s what we have to do. As far as Westlife are concerned, Bryan’s dead and gone.”

I do like Westlife, too, because I believe that they were and still are the best boy-band; for me, though, Brian was, individually, the best in the band. Brian is very much alive as a solo performer, composing heartfelt songs. He sings very well and I really like his voice and style. May he gain more success in the music industry and I pray for his happiness always!

I am very sad knowing that my idol boyband was not in one anymore, I searched it and its really true, why????????? of all the boy bands Westlife is the one???? honestly I love Westlife, my eldest sister brought me all their cd from Canada, I played it how many times a day, its really good voice, handsome and everything they make their fans fall inlove with their voices, my room wall full of their pictures. Can they still become a group again? I am very sad. I miss you Westlife from the bottom of my heart. To start with, Bryan is not dead as you guys think it to be all along. When Westlife said Bryan is dead an gone, they meant he is no longer in the band. No lover of Westlife that will say he or she does not like Bryan. But let’s face reality they have to move on with or without Bryan.
