Clay Aiken tells the Associated Press isn’t out to beat ‘American Idol’ champ Ruben Studdard. The runner-up said, “It’s just about me doing the best that I can do and I know that for him it’s about him doing the best that he can do.” While he says he’s heard his single ‘This Is The Night’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ is beating Studdard’s is ‘Flying Without Wings’ and ‘Superstar’, he insisted it’s not a competition and he wants them both to succeed.
